RECONTASTIC

Hey, I'm Recontastic (or just Recon). I'm a Canadian guitarist who's been messing around with six strings since I was sixteen. What started as a kid learning power chords has turned into a love affair with pretty much every genre you can think of.

My style? It's all over the place and I love it that way. Metal riffs that'll make your neighbors complain, Spanish-inspired melodies that sound like a sunset in Seville, blues licks that make you feel something, and everything in between.

Since 2013, I've been streaming on Twitch. Live jams, spontaneous covers, maybe a few happy accidents that turn into something cool. It's all about having fun and sharing the love of music with awesome people who hang out in chat.

When I'm not playing guitar, I'm geeking out with web design, 3D art, and creative tech stuff. Basically, if I can make something cool with it, I'm in!

I also play with River Cats, a band that covers everything from classic rock to modern pop. Because apparently playing one type of music wasn't enough for me.

Bottom line: Life's too short to stick to one genre. Let's play some music and have a good time.
